SOCIAL OUTREACH
The Outreach Committee has been engaged in exploring ways ASPC can better know and love our neighbors in the city. During the past few months, we have partnered with The Other Carpenter, working on developing a process for building relationships with outreach partners. We met with Will O’Brien from Project H.O.M.E. to consider grassroots strategies to fight the injustice of homelessness, and designed plans for the church’s 2011-2012 outreach efforts. In the coming year, the church will focus its volunteer effots and educational opportunities on the issues of education, homelessness, and hunger. Stay tuned for details!
Please remember that all are welcome to attend our regular Outreach meetings on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm at the church. Please contact Sandi Richards at SRichards@shipleyschool.org or Jim Ballengee at jballengee@penncharter.com with ideas or questions.
OUTREACH MEETINGS
