Arch Street Presbyterian Church hosts the Foyer of Philadelphia
The Foyer of Philadelphia is changing focus from temporary to more permanent housing for LGBTQ young adults.
The Foyer of Philadelphia provides overnight resource programming for LGBTQ young adults (ages 18-24). Having aged out of foster care and often shunned by their families and religious communities, these young adults are particularly vulnerable when life takes an unknown turn and housing becomes unstable. Running from mid December through the end of March, the Foyer of Philadelphia welcomed young folks into our building and provided social services and loving support.
One of Arch Street Presbyterian Church’s core values is welcoming LGBTQ youth, young adults, and adults. Presently, the foyer is not running.
