The Adult Christian Education program is committed to engaging questions of life and faith that matter deeply in our day-to-day lives. ASPC is a growing congregation and we firmly believe that the Christian life is one of discipleship. Whether you have been a long-time churchgoer or are dabbling in Christianity for the first time, please consider joining us for one of our many Christian Education programs.
Study with us! Come to our Lenten Small Groups for fellowship, food, and a chance to explore scripture and our faith together. In tandem with the weekly sermons, these groups, led by our pastors will explore the questions that Jesus asks in scripture, allowing us to look at these passages and discuss them in even greater depth. The basis for discussion in each group will come from The Questions of Jesus: Challenging Ourselves to Discover Life’s Great Answers by John Dear, which is evocative and provocative and just might resonate deeply with your own questions and answers of faith. There will be three groups meeting during Lent:
- Wednesday Good Book Club at 12:10 pm
- Thursday evening 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. including a soup and bread dinner — with childcare.
- Sunday morning 9:15 – 10:30 a.m. including coffee/juice and a light breakfast — with childcare.
Sign-ups requested by this Sunday, March 2: Rev. Megan at firstname.lastname@example.org.
